Dr. Arturo Martinez, III, M.D. is a Rio Grande Valley native, born in Edinburg and raised in Pharr. A proud alumnus of P.S.J.A. North High School, he furthered his studies at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry complemented by a minor in Biology.
In 2010, Dr. Martinez received his Medical Degree from St George’s University in Grenada, West Indies. His journey then led him to Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he undertook his third and fourth years of medical schooling. His professional expertise was honed with a residency in Internal Medicine at the State University of New York at Downstate Medical Center, completed in 2014.
Since 2014, Dr. Martinez has been a dedicated practitioner and, since 2016, has been serving the Rio Grande Valley community.
